The vision of EI Malawi is to see
churches in Malawi equipped to take a leading role in the spiritual and
physical care of those around them.
Vision
As part of EI Malawi, an international partnership of Christian and
development organizations, the mission of EI Malawi is to encourage,
strengthen and assist local partner churches to meet the physical and
spiritual needs of the poor in accordance with the Holy Scriptures.
Strategic Objectives
In pursuance of its Vision and Mission, the objectives of EI Malawi
shall be to:
- Provide training to Christian Church Pastors and other
leaders that
results in evangelism as a regular part of the life of the local
church, and empowers effective soul-winning, prayer, learning, teaching
and reaching out to people with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ
- Address the HIV/AIDS pandemic and gender inequality
with Biblically
based responses in justifiably chosen communities
- Improve access to safe, potable, and adequate water
- Improve access to basic, safe sanitation
- Facilitate sustainable increases in agricultural
productivity to
reduce acute food insecurity and malnutrition among people who are
vulnerable
- Facilitate improved access to basic social and other
development
services including health, education, and markets
- Undertake any other functions that are incidental and
conducive to
the attainment of the objectives in this Article.
